RESERVATION PROCESS – reserve completely online

How to Reserve:

Follow the steps below.

Step 1: Submit the Reservation Form + Deposit

Space rentals are not reserved until the reservation form has been received and approved. Additionally, you must submit the $100 down payment (toward the $400 rental cost) and the refundable $150 liability deposit

COMPLETE THE RESERVATION FORM

Step 2: Complete Payment (if applicable)

Use the payment form for remaining balances and any additional fees.

Step 3: Upload Proof of Insurance

Every event must submit at least $1,000,000 in liability insurance listing Lakewood United Methodist Church as an additional insured. You can purchase One-Day Event Liability Insurance for this purpose. You must submit proof of insurance before you will receive entry into the Fellowship Hall.

Lakewood United Methodist Church is a shared space for people of all ages. We ask all groups to help maintain a safe environment by keeping walkways and entryways clear, watching for trip hazards, and taking care around wet floors. Groups hosting children are asked to ensure that children are always supervised adequately so that everyone can enjoy the space safely.

The Fellowship Hall is available to rent during times when it is not scheduled for church, school, or community use.

Yes—call, email, or request one in your reservation form, and we’ll follow up with available times.

Not yet. Your reservation is confirmed after it is approved and the refundable deposit is paid.

Some events require proof of insurance. If needed, we’ll let you know during the approval process, and you can upload it online.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing using the Cancellation Form.

The cost to rent the Fellowship Hall is $400 per day (8 hours), regardless of whether you need it for the whole time period. 

The event must conclude by 10 pm, though the responsible party may remain after 10 pm to clean up and return the facility to the condition in which it was found.

  • Decorators who need access on Friday afternoon must provide the church office with a copy of their liability insurance in advance.

  • For safety and fire regulations, any wall draping or curtains must allow clear access to fire exits, and exit doors and lighting must remain visible at all times.

 

The use of Alcohol, Tobacco, or any Illegal Drugs in any building or anywhere on the property is strictly forbidden.
